This course is based on LSS Vista and is those who have attended the LSS Introduction course.

The course looks at: Converting Data from Third Party Software (XYZ/CSV, DXF and DWG), Checking, and Editing the Survey, Basic Design Procedures including Circles, Arcs, Parallel and Variable Offsets and Digitising, Copying Data between Surveys, Computing Areas and Volumes, Generating Sections, Plotting Plans and Sections, and an overview of the 3D View command.

Requirements:

Trainees require an active LSS Vista Level of licence.

Trainees should have attended the Introduction to LSS Course.

Content:

Session 1: Creating New Surveys and Converting XYZ (CSV), DXFs and DWGs.

Session 2: Tidying the Survey, Removing and Amending Features, Sorting Overlays, the CAD-Pro commands, Designing Circles and Arcs.

Session 3: Simple Design Procedures, Parallel and Variable Offsets, Digitising, Copying Data between DTMs, Computing Areas and Volumes.

Session 4: Generating Sections, Plotting Plans and Sections, Sending Sections to a Load File and looking at 3-D View.

Training documents and data are shared to trainees via a link to a Google Drive. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are able to access Google Drives prior to the training course in order to download the necessary files. This course is e-Learning based. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are able to access the LearnWorlds LSS website to access e-Learning and are able to freely download course data from this website. You may need to contact your IT department to enable access. The website is https://lss.learnworlds.com/. You will need an inernet connection to access the course, and can access it 24/7.

Access to the course will be provided once payment has been received. You will have two weeks per course to access and complete the course and the certificate will be automatically produced upon successful completion.
