This course is based on LSS Solo, and follows on from the LSS Introduction Course and is targeted at Land Surveyors.
The course covers: configuring LSS for Survey Instruments, Processing and Quality Checking Survey Data for Topographical and Elevation Surveys, Feature Coding and LSS Reserved Codes, Survey Reporting and Editing, Traverse Adjustment, CAD-Pro for Amending and Adding Extra Observations, and Transforming a Local Grid Survey to a Different Grid Coordinate System (OSNG).

Requirements:
Trainees require an active LSS Solo level of licence.
This course is for users who have attended the LSS Introduction Course and have some knowledge of processing total station surveys.
Content:
Session 1: Copying the Code List onto a Survey Instrument, Configuring LSS for Survey Instruments,Inputting and Processing Total Station Survey Data.
Session 2: LSS Coding and the Reserved Codes, Creating a new survey for GPS transformed data, Processing a Building Elevation Survey.
Session 3: Survey Query and Report commands, Control commands for Station Observations, Traverse Adjustment and Amending Observations.
Session 4: Tidying Crossing Links, the Terrain and Non-terrain Overlays, CAD-Pro Commands, and Survey Transformation.

LSS Training courses are hosted remotely via Zoom or are e-Learning based. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are able to access the Zoom software prior to the training course, or make any necessary arrangements with your IT services so that this is possible.
