Overview:

The course is based on the Solo level of LSS and is aimed at all new users, but existing LSS users may find this course useful too.

The course begins with Terrain Modelling Concepts and covers the practical use of the software including: Controlling the Display, Navigating, Querying a Survey, the Survey Legend, Editing the Survey, Annotating, Exporting to DXF, and Updating the Prototype.


Requirements:

Trainees require an active LSS Solo Level of Licence.

This is a course for new users, but existing LSS users may find this course useful too.

Trainees do not need any prior knowledge of LSS, but should be familiar with Microsoft Windows applications. Trainees require an internet connection to access the course.

This e-Learning course should take 7 hours to complete as these are day-equivalent courses. You will have 2 weeks to work through the material at your own pace, after which time your access to the course will expire. You are always welcome to re-enrol on the course after expiration but you will need to pay again.


Content:

Session 1: Digital Terrain Models and the structure of LSS. Opening, Navigating and Interrogating a Survey.

Session 2: Creating a New Survey, Inputting Survey Data, Controlling the Display and Configuring the Survey Legend.

Session 3: Adding Observations & Features, CAD-Pro Commands, Amending, Moving, Removing Observations, the Undo Command, and Adding Surfaces.

Session 4: Annotating a Survey, Updating the Prototype, Exporting to DXF and Configuring the LSS Settings.


LSS Training Conditions:

Please ensure that you read through the course requirements and course content fully before purchasing.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the appropriate LSS Licence Level for your course. Please check this prior to booking the course. If you are unsure which licence level you may have or need, or if your current LSS licence does not match the course requirements please contact us and we will be happy to assist.

Training documents and data are shared to trainees via a link to a Google Drive. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are able to access Google Drives prior to the training course in order to download the necessary files. If you are having trouble accessing any of the Google Drives, please contact us prior to the training course.

 

This course is e-Learning based. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are able to access the LearnWorlds LSS website to access e-Learning and are able to freely download course data from this website. You may need to contact your IT department to enable access. The website is https://lss.learnworlds.com/. You will need an inernet connection to access the course, and can access it 24/7.

Access to the course will be provided once payment has been received. You will have two weeks per course to access and complete the course and the certificate will be automatically produced upon successful completion.
