We held our first combined LSS/Leica 1200 Workshop in 2005 and they remain incredibly popular amongst LSS users.

Specifically for users of Leica 1200 Series survey instruments, including EDM (2-man and 1-man systems) and GPS (including SmartRover).These one day, partly outdoors practical Workshops, give new and existing LSS users the opportunity to undertake complex surveys in controlled conditions, then process the survey in LSS. Bring along your own survey equipment and see the benefit the very next time you do a survey. These Workshops involve technical and training representatives from both McCarthy Taylor and Leica Geosystems in order to provide the highest level of training and advice.

1. LSS installation and configuration
2. Configuration of your own survey equipment
3. Hands-on outdoor surveying session
4. How to code a survey efficiently
5. Downloading and processing the survey
6. Exporting data for setting-out
7. Exporting the LSS Legend to a codelist on the instrument
8. Exporting DTMs for machine control and ground engineering
9. Transferring station coordinates to and from the instrument
